Our team has experience with a wide range of species, and our goal is always to make your pet’s visit as stress-free and compassionate as possible.
Do you take pet insurance?
Yes! While we don’t process insurance directly, we’re happy to provide the documentation you need to file your claim. Most pet insurance plans reimburse policyholders quickly — just submit your invoice after your visit.
Do you offer emergency services?

When should my pet have a wellness exam?
For most adult pets, we recommend annual wellness exams. Senior pets and those with chronic conditions should be seen every six months. Regular visits allow us to catch issues early and keep your pet healthy through every stage of life.
How can I refill my pet’s medication?
For refills, please call us or request a renewal through our PetDesk app. We’ll let you know when your pet’s prescription is ready for pickup or if an exam is needed before renewal.
Do you accept walk-ins or same-day appointments?
What payment methods do you accept?
For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, debit cards, all major credit cards, Venmo, and CareCredit.

Do you offer CareCredit financing?
Yes. CareCredit allows you to split your veterinary bill into smaller, manageable payments, often with interest-free options for qualified applicants. You can apply online before your visit or in person at our clinic.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring:
- Any previous veterinary records
- A list of current medications or supplements
- Your pet’s vaccination history
- A completed New Client Form (available online)
If you’re transferring from another veterinarian, we can also help request your pet’s records on your behalf.
Do you offer orthopedic or surgical services?
Yes — Dr. Jeff Abelt specializes in orthopedic surgery, including canine cruciate ligament repairs and other advanced procedures. We also provide general and soft tissue surgeries, spays and neuters, and laser-assisted procedures.
